The Treveri and the metalworkCycle 4
During the tour through the protohistoric section the pupils discover the princely graves of Altrier, Flaxweiler, Grosbous, Clemency and Goeblange-Nospelt which bear witness to the high standard of living of the Celtic aristocracy before the Roman conquest. Findings from the remains of the Titelberg oppidum explain the structure of the Celtic oppidum and daily life in the recent Iron Age. The pupils then take part in an educational game that uses the knowledge acquired during the guided tour and make a fibula that they can customise to their taste.
