The roman gardenCycle 4 et Lycées
After a visit to the remains of the Roman villa and the museum, the high school students will discover plants cultivated in antiquity. The Roman garden on the site of the Roman villa is home to medicinal plants, herbs, spices, vegetables,as well as fruit trees. The youngsters discover this garden with all their senses and receive instruction in botany before moving on to the harvest and preparing a menu following recipes from Roman times.
The workshop is offered for all classes of secondary education, but can be particularly interesting for classes of natural sciences or for sections of health and social professions.
