New "Empreinte" on display

From January to March

As part of a collaboration between the National Museum of History and Art (MNHA) and the NPO "Empreinte" aiming to periodically showcase the diversity of the production of this artistic collective, visitors can admire the work of three engraver-members at the museum reception until the end of March 2021.

They are Sus Hierzig (aquatint and woodcut), Yvonne Simon (etching, sugar; printing by different viscosities) and Yvonne Rodesch (monoprint, various techniques such as etching, drypoint, spit byte, woodcut).

Furthermore, the MNHA is currently displaying a very huge exhibition on the art of printmaking, "Figure in Print", in collaboration with the National Library (BnL) and Empreinte: the access to this exhibition is free.
